Petition to Fast-Track Canada’s Most Important Energy and Infrastructure Projects

We, the undersigned, call upon the Canadian government to immediately take action to advance Canada’s critical energy and infrastructure projects.

Canada’s economic future depends on the rapid development of major projects, from energy and infrastructure to utility corridors. These projects will not only create thousands of jobs but will also bolster our energy production, strengthen trade relationships, and enhance energy security.

Global competition is intensifying, and tariffs from the U.S. threaten our industries. We can no longer afford setbacks like the cancellation of Energy East and Northern Gateway. Canada must move forward with confidence and clear resolve.

Canada’s slow, unpredictable project approval system damages our competitiveness and tarnishes our global reputation. We need a faster, clearer, and more objective process to approve projects in the national interest—just as other countries have done.

Nation-building projects should be built by the best teams without exclusion. We stand for policies that ensure all qualified contractors and skilled workers have the opportunity to contribute to building Canada’s future.
Every delay costs jobs, investment, and growth. The sooner we get started, the sooner Canadians will see the economic and societal benefits of these projects.
